Why do Cypriot tax advisors request a CV?
It is regulatory for tax advisors and consultants by the Cypriot authorities to do a "background check" of all their (foreign) customers. Therefore, we are asking for a CV (short for the Latin phrase curriculum vitae, which means "course of life"). Cyprus wants to protect its reputation from bad actors and maintain transparency in companies' ownership structure.
Keep your CV simple and limit it to the essentials. We do not give beauty awards. Your CV should include the following:
- Contact information
- Personal Statement (Personal Profile)
- Work Experience
- Associations and Certifications (Optional)
- Education
